Karen Figueredo-Reyes M.D (MAIN PI)
Dr. Karen Figueredo-Reyes is a Board-Certified Family Physician with over 23 years of clinical research experience. During her time participating in research trials, she has conducted over 90 trials in her 9 years at the Innovation Medical Research Center of Palmetto Bay. Dr. Figueredo-Reyes is a bilingual PI in English and Spanish. Thus, she avidly aids the research site in maintaining a more diverse patient population within their already well-established database. Additionally, Dr. Figueredo-Reyes maintains her amazing integrated 6 private practice network within the surrounding area, which supports all the clinical trials activities at IMRC, along with their investigators team covering 10 different clinical areas of specialization such as Neurology, Nephrology, Psychiatry, Cardiology, Endocrinology, Rheumatology, Podiatry, Pulmonology, Internal Medicine, Cosmetic Surgery, and Gastroenterology. She and the site are well trained and experienced in ICF execution, ePRO training, protocol understanding for patient presentation, IP dosing versatility, protocol procedure/assessment compliance, data integrity, and overall patient care. Within less than a decade at IMRC, Dr. Karen Figueredo-Reyes remains consistent in emphasizing a personal importance for the quality held between Patient Health and Clinical Research conduction care.

Yellian Ruiz-Irizarry, M.D. (MAIN PI)
Dr. Yellian Ruiz-Irizarry is a double Board-Certified Rheumatologist and Internal Medicine physician with over 17 years of clinical experience and 13 years of research experience. Dr. Ruiz is a medical director of the Miami Institute of Rheumatology and has participated in 48+ clinical trials ranging through Rheumatology, Dermatology, Immunology, Endocrinology, Hematology, among other criteria. Specializing in Rheumatology and being a bilingual physician, Dr. Ruiz’s experience and education allow them to treat a well- versed population of patients for a vast array of clinical research trials.

Luis Hernandez-Rosado, M.D. (MAIN PI)
Dr. Luis Hernandez-Rosado is a Board-Certified Internist, started his research career in Miami in 2014, and with over 10 years of research experience has become well versed in studies of various indications. Dr. Hernandez-Rosado has participated in over 60+ trials ranging from Dermatology, Endocrinology, Urology, Cardiology, Rheumatology, and other specializations. He has previous research publications focused on Cardiology/Heart Disease/Diabetes Mellitus, among other literature. As a PI at Innovation, Dr. Hernandez-Rosado has quickly built a growing research portfolio, having participated in the conduction of trials with major pharmaceutical Sponsors.

Saul N. Gonzalez-Montalvo (Sub-I ONLY)
Dr. Saul Montalvo is a Board-Certified Nephrologist, with 4+ years of research experience within the Palmetto Bay Innovation Medical Group. Being a bilingual physician, Dr. Montalvo is a well versed Nephrologist being able to enroll patients from different ethnic backgrounds, and better educate our communities of research benefits. Dr. Montalvo has participated in Phases 1 through 4 trials specializing in Nephrology and Hypertension, with conditions varying in Autosomal Dominant Polycystic Kidney Disease, Chronic Kidney Disease, Complicated Urinary Tract Infection, Overactive Bladder Disease, End Stage Renal Disease, among others.

Yaumara Gonzalez, APRN (Sub-I ONLY)
APRN, Yaumara Gonzalez is acknowledged as a Foreign Medical Doctor in Cuba, with 25 years of clinical background and 6 years of research experience within the USA. Given her clinical expertise, Ms. GOnzalez works exclusively as the clinical lead of the Innovation Medical Research Center’s Unblinded team.

Jose-Luis Velazquez-Cecena MD (Sub-I ONLY)
Dr. Jose-Luis Velazquez-Cecena MD is a Double Board-Certified Internist and Cardiologist with a growing research background starting in 1995. Dr. Velazquez-Cecena has gained great experience in trials for cardiovascular diseases ranging in Phase II-IV. As a published physician, his publications and overall research focus on multiple Cardiovascular indications such as Hypertension, Atrial Fibrillation, Chronic Peripheral Artery Disease, Congestive Heart Failure, Hypertriglyceridemia, Hypercholesterolemia, Myocardial Infarction, including trial participation as a Sub-I in more than 7 mRNA modified Vaccine trials conducted in the last 4 years. As a bilingual physician in English and Spanish, Dr. Velazquez-Cecena’s experience and education allow them to treat a well-versed population of patients for a vast array of clinical research trials.

Noel Medina-Rojo, APRN (Sub-I ONLY)
APRN, Noel Medina-Rojo is acknowledged as a Foreign Medical Doctor in Cuba, with 30 years of clinical background and 5 years of research experience within the USA. As an avid Sub-Investigator, Mr. Medina-Rojo is looked to for his experience in clinical research rating assessments and overal expertise with quality clinical procedures.

Carlos P Ramos M.D (Sub-I ONLY)
Dr. Carlos Ramos is a double Board-Certified Internist and Gastroenterologist, with 22 years of clinical experience and over 8 years of research experience. Specializing in gastroenterology, Dr. Ramos has conducted trials for various indications such as Ulcerative Colitis, Crohn’s Disease, GERD, Pancreatitis, Diverticulitis, and IBS. Among his GI participation, he has also conducted Cardiovascular, Infectious Disease, and Endocrin/Metabolic trials. As a bilingual physician/investigator, Dr.Ramos’ experience and education allow them to treat a well versed population of patients for a vast array of clinical research trials.

Omar Abreu-Pino, APRN (Sub-I ONLY)
APRN, Omar Abreu-Pino is acknowledged as Foreign Medical Doctor in Cuba, with 17 years of clinical experience and 10 years of research experience within the USA. Additionally, Mr. Abreu-Pino serves the Palmetto Bay site as an experienced Rater with over 12 neuropsychiatric rater scales.
