Stephen Maddock
Dr. Stephen Maddock, MD, PhD, is a Physician Investigator with over 30 years of experience spanning clinical research, medical monitoring, drug development, and patient care. He earned his MD from Eastern Virginia School of Medicine and a PhD in Medical Biophysics from Indiana University. Throughout his career, he has held leadership positions in clinical research organizations, biotechnology companies, academic medicine, and healthcare institutions, including serving as Medical Director for Analab Clinical Research, PRA International Early Development Services, and the Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy. As a Principal Investigator and Sub-Investigator, Dr. Maddock has conducted Phase I–IV clinical trials across a broad range of therapeutic areas, including autoimmune diseases, cardiovascular disorders, diabetes and metabolic conditions, pulmonary diseases, neurology, psychiatry, vaccines, and healthy volunteer studies. His extensive experience includes early-phase pharmacokinetic and safety studies as well as later-phase efficacy trials. He is GCP certified and currently serves as a Physician Investigator with Alcanza Clinical Research, bringing strong expertise in protocol execution, patient safety oversight, and clinical development.
