Alcanza Clinical Research, a mission-focused investigator site network, announces the opening of its newest facility, Phoenix Medical Trials, in Phoenix, Arizona. The new clinical trial location shares a 5,100 sq. ft. facility with Lifetime Heart and Vascular, a prominent cardiology physicians group and will soon take over the building. This addition strengthens Alcanza’s capacity to deliver late-stage clinical trials across the Southwest.

With a focus on cardiology, the growing site is equipped to support clinical trials across the full spectrum of family medicine, including hypertension, obesity, migraine and vaccine studies. The space is designed to optimize patient experience, streamline trial execution, and support a growing number of sponsors and CROs seeking access to experienced investigators and operational excellence in the region.

The site’s opening is led by Alcanza CEO Carlos Orantes, who emphasized that the expansion into Phoenix reinforces the network’s mission to reach and engage diverse communities. “We celebrate opening our doors to the surrounding communities,” said Orantes. “At Alcanza, we are committed to ensuring Clinical Research for AllTM is accessible and inclusive – reaching individuals across cultures, backgrounds, and communities with the same standard of care and opportunity.”

To celebrate the milestone, Phoenix Medical Trials will host an Open House, inviting patients, community partners, and healthcare providers to explore the new facility.
